"Seems like politics. That's all I'm livin' in.
Politics... in a world of sin."
The Republican party during the Eisenhower administration was further left than today's Democratic Socialists. Let that sink in. The Republican party, in the era of Dwight D. Eisenhower (who served as President of the United States from 1953 to 1961), supported a platform that was further left than Democratic politicians TODAY who support what's glibly written off as a "socialist" platform (yet represents MAINSTREAM American values - like health care, affordability, immigration, and not pouring resources into ill-conceived and never-ending wars of choice).
What does that say about the modern Republican party under the MAGA banner? The so-called "radical left", by any rational evaluation, is a centrist platform. That's how far right this country is currently standing. Whatever lies you've been systematically led to believe, MAGA is a fascist project with oligarchal aspirations. It's a breeding ground for corruption, and the exploitation of the American people, on a scale never before seen in the 250 year history of this country. And it's all for the benefit of an ultra-wealthy elite minority.
Is that what you stand for?
